The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim - Le patch 1.4 et le Creation Kit devraient voir le jour en Janvier [MAJ]

Depuis la sortie de The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim, qui remonte à la date symbolique du 11 novembre 2011, on ne peut pas dire que les mods se sont fait rares. En quelques semaines seulement, la communauté chevronnée de moddeurs a été capable de nous offrir de belles textures pour améliorer les personnages, les armes et les environnements, mais également des mods améliorant cette interface qui a tant fait  couler d'encre.

Malgré cette avalanche de mods, s'il y a une chose qu'attendent avec impatience les moddeurs et les joueurs, c'est bien le Creation Kit. Eh oui, c'est le nouveau nom de l'ancien The Elder Scrolls Construction Set (TESCS) qui a su faire la renommée de cette série qui compte maintenant pas moins de cinq épisodes. Pour tenter de rassurer les joueurs, Bethesda vient de publier sur son compte Twitter un message indiquant que cet outil devrait voir le jour courant Janvier 2012.

Nous savions déjà que le Creation Kit était prévu pour ce début d'année mais l'absence de nouvelles était tout de même suspecte, d'autant que les patchs ne semblent pas non plus se bousculer au portillon malgré l'énorme quantité de choses que les développeurs pourraient corriger. Quoi qu'il en soit, nous devrions en apprendre plus via le blog de Bethesda dans les jours à venir.

[MAJ]  Pour une fois, Bethesda n'a pas tardé puisque nous pouvons trouver sur le blog de ce dernier et dès maintenant de nouvelles informations sur le futur patch 1.4 ainsi que sur le Creation Kit. Ce dernier verra bien le jour à la fin du mois de janvier après avoir subit plusieurs tests en compagnie de Valve pour l'intégrer dans le Steam Workshop. Une application Steam dans laquelle nous pourrons trouver des mods. Le patch 1.4 corrige quant à lui un certain nombre de bugs que l'on peut rencontrer dans quelques quêtes, mais vient également optimiser toujours un peu plus le moteur graphique ce cinquième opus. Celui-ci devrait pointer le bout de son nez d'ici quelques jours.

  • Fixed issue progressing through “Message to Whiterun” while “Season Unending” was still open would block progression for both quests.
  • In “Arniel’s Endeavor”, fixed issue where a quest journal would trigger multiple times
  • In “Forbidden Legend”, the amulet fragment can no longer disappear after player leaves a dungeon without taking it

  • Fixed instance where Tonilia would stop buying stolen items and also would not give Guild Leader Armor
  • “Repairing the Phial” will start properly if player already has unmelting snow or mammoth tusk in their inventory
  • Finding Pantea’s Flute before speaking with Pantea no longer prevents her quest from updating
  • In “The Coming of the Dawn”, fixed rare instance where a quest object would spawn incorrectly on the Katariah during Hail Sithis
  • Fixed rare issue in “The Mind of Madness” where player is unable to equip the Wabbajack
  • Fixed issue in “Pieces of the Past” where Mehrunes Dagon’s Razor will not trigger properly if player leaves the cell for extended period of time before activating it
  • “Blood’s Honor” will start properly if you visited and completed Driftshade and an extended period of time passes before starting the quest.

Il y'a l'air d'y avoir quelques corrections de bugs de quête, dont certaines m'intéressent en théorie:

- In “Forbidden Legend”, the amulet fragment can no longer disappear after player leaves a dungeon without taking it
- Fixed numerous issues with “Blood on the Ice” not triggering properly


Sauf qu'en pratique, dire que le fragment d'amulette ne disparaitra plus ne revient pas à dire qu'il reviendra si il a disparu. Donc là je ne sais pas trop ce que ça donnera.

Bref, 2 quêtes de résolues sur mes 12 bugguées dans le meilleur des cas. Rien sur la guerre civile coté empire qui semble bien plus bugguée que coté sombrage. Un patch qui arrivera fin janvier ... mais on est déjà fin janvier ?

Je vais continuer dans l'optique que je me suis fixé donc. Finir le jeu courant semaine prochaine et le revendre dans la foulée.

J'ai stoppé Skyrim et je ne compte pas y rejouer ... je suis reparti dans STALKER



PS : Aaaaarrrggghhh, on ne peut pas s'abonner aux news, donc pour la réponse ???!!! (à part en MP si tu veux bien).

Il manque 3 points importants :

Correction des textures qui font mal aux yeux (PS3)

Ajout de polygones pour éviter la confusion avec une éventuelle version Wii (PS3)

J'ai acheté le jeu sur xbox 360. Donc il doit se revendre globalement entre 30-35 euros. Puisque je vais en avoir fait le tour bientôt, je ne vois pas l'intérêt de garder un jeu indéfiniment dans l'attente d'un hypothétique patch.
Surtout que je sais qu'une fois terminé, je n'y retoucherais probablement jamais. Ca avait été le cas avec oblivion et avec morrowind, j'avais à peine entamé tribunal.
Je n'ai jamais recommencé une partie avec un autre personnage non plus.

Non, il n'y a pas d'activation ni sur xbox 360, ni sur PS3. C'est la raison qui m'a fait choisir ce support même. Pas vraiment l'activation, mais le fait d'installer steam.

C'est vrai que c'est l'un des intérêts des versions consoles, même si de plus en plus de jeu utilise un système de "online pass" pour le contenu multi-joueur (et même le contenu solo récemment avec Batman Arkham City... ).
